War Is Hell! (and the sooner we win, the better for all of us)
by Dean Koepke, US-First founderAug 10, 2006 It's happening yet again -- and I -- for millions of my fellow citizens -- am damn tired of it! Today we awoke to news that a bunch of towel-headed M-F'ers were readying to blow up several planes bound from England to The States. The predictable response of the "them first" crowd who is currently entrenched in our government was to search every white-haired old lady and the diapers of the offspring of Latino parents, and then do random searches of the same to see if they’d missed something. What a bunch of toilet heads at TSA and Homeland [In-}Security!
If our government was once again run by WE THE PEOPLE, and considered
US-First , the response would've been to search and otherwise inconvenience only those who look and/or act like our enemy. We are not at war with blond-haired, blue-eyed Swedes, or brown-skinned, clean-shaven Costa Ricans, or slick black haired Vietnamese, or dark-skinned, curly-haired Nigerians. We are at war with an enemy who fields soldiers of almost exclusively Middle-Eastern, Moslem men who range in age from the late teens to around thirty. We Americans spend like we have all the money in the world -- which we don't. (The get-out-of-debt-and-screw-the-credit-card-companies-now commercials attest to that...but, that's for another article.) We need to be putting our scarce resources where they will do the most good. It is exceedingly wasteful to go around looking like we don't have a clue about the identity of the enemy. The enemy has shown that they will say or do anything to anyone -- including their own women and children. Their stated goal is our conversion to be like them or our complete annihilation. We have only two choices: fight and win -- or die (or wear towels on our heads and dress our women in burkas). I am not yet calling for internment of those among us -- who have done nothing wrong -- but who look like our enemy. But, if they will not start ferreting-out the vermin from among them, and if our government will not quit treating WE THE PEOPLE as a whole like the enemy, then there will be internment.
During WW II, we were at war with Japan, Germany and Italy. At the time, we called them "Japs", "Crouts" and "Degos" (and worse), and drew degrading caricatures of them because we needed to see our enemy as sub-humans who could be extinguished as we do the fly who dares land on our arm. We feel for those who are like us. We had to see them as unlike us so that we could get the disgusting job of wining the war over and done with. All three groups are now our friends again. I don't pass thru Brenham, TX where a large population of Americans of German decent live and wonder, "What could those crouts be up to now?" You'd better believe it when I tell you that I wonder how many Islamo-fascists are inside that mosque on the corner...
Fast forward to the Viet Nam war. Remember "gooks" and "charlie"? That's not common-speak anymore. We're not at war with them today, so we can look at them as people like us -- people who love their children and dream about tomorrow, people who bleed when cut, cry when hurt, and laugh when happy. Yes, they're people again -- just like us.
Moving to today, in order to win the present war, we have no choice but to see our enemy as a bunch of "towel heads", "A-rabs", "slime in dirty night-shirts", "camel jockeys", etc. No, it's not nice. But, as General William Tecumseh Sherman said in 1879, "War is hell!" The sooner we get it over with, the sooner we can get to tomorrow when we can again look at those who today are our enemy as decent, god-fearing, child-loving fellow human beings along this road of life. But first...since we don't want to be like they are now...we have to defeat them.
